Check out our FAQ below to see if we have answers to your question. If not, head on over to our Contact Us page for ways to get a hold of us.

Where does La Marzocco Home ship? +

Currently, we will ship to anywhere in New Zealand. When shipping an espresso machine or grinder there is a $100 flat rate charge nationwide (free shipping within Auckland). When purchasing merchandise, shipping will be calculated at check out depending on the size of the order, and where it is being sent to.

How does service work for my machine? +

When you purchase your machine direct from La Marzocco New Zealand we offer phone support Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. If we can’t solve your problem over the phone, we have a list of Preferred Service Providers that will be able to fix your machine. If you are in an area where there are no service providers, we will give you instructions on how to ship your machine to us for repair. If you are based in Auckland, you can arrange the machine to be sent or dropped back to us, and we can provide this service. If you are based outside of Auckland, we recommend keeping the original palette and packaging that the machine comes with, as this makes it much easier for return shipping. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries or are experiencing any issues with your machinery.

Can I create a custom colour and logo for my machine? +

Yes, similar to our commercial machines that you will see in cafes, we can customise the colour of your machine. Prices will vary depending on your colour choice. Please contact us at home.nz@lamarzocco.com for more information on customisation. Please note: there is a longer lead time on customised machinery.

What's the most important thing I can do to make sure my La Marzocco espresso machine keeps running normally? +

The most important thing you can do for your espresso machine is to use the right water. Most of the problems people experience with their machines stems from the fact they are using water that is outside of the specification given by La Marzocco for proper operation. Each of our machines ships with a water test kit so that you can make sure the water you are using is within spec. View our Water Specifications and enter the results of your test in our Water Calculator. If you have any questions regarding water, do not hesitate to get in touch.

What options do you have for shipping? +

We don’t currently ship outside of New Zealand. In order to fulfil all of our orders we use two different shipping methods.

Mainfreight

For any machinery order, we ship using Mainfreight from our site in Auckland, New Zealand where the machinery is bench tested before being shipped out. Delivery is usually overnight to addresses in the North Island and it takes at least two working days for deliveries to the South Island. The only exception would be for rural areas or if there are delays with the freight company due to unforeseen circumstances.

When receiving a freight shipment it is important that someone is available to be home to receive the delivery. You must inspect the machine for damage before signing the paperwork. Once you sign the paperwork you are responsible for any damage that may have occurred in transit. Make sure that you note any damage that you find on the delivery receipt. View our guide to receiving freight packages here.

CourierPost

For any shipping order that is not machinery, we use CourierPost. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout depending on size of order and delivery address.
