On the 23rd of March, Roaster in Residence, Espresso Workshop, hosted an exciting sensory journey at their Orakei roastery in Auckland.
At this small-group masterclass the Espresso Workshop team introduced guests to the world of diverse coffee flavours, showcasing the coffee origins offered at Espresso Workshop, explaining why they were selected, their regional characteristics, the attributes, the flavours they offer, and which might suit your taste preferences.
The team of roasters discussed why some coffees are selected for blends and why others are selected for single origin. The masterclass concluded with a fun taste challenge where guests blind tasted 3 different coffees. Prizes included ceramics from Loveramics.
