What is a used home machine?
‘Used’ refers to machines that are generally less than 6 years old and have been used for events, showroom demonstrations and/or loans. These machines are inspected and thoroughly serviced by our technician team to ensure they are in great working condition prior to being made available to purchase. Please note as they are used, certain components may show signs of wear that do not affect functionality and are not covered under warranty. The machines may also have cosmetic blemishes including paint chips and scratches from prior use. These blemishes will be documented as best as we can on the web listing prior to sale.

What is a refurbished home machine?
‘Refurbished’ refers to machines that are generally older than 6 years old and have had significant use. In these cases, due to the age, machines undergo a more rigorous refurbishment process which requires descaling, rebuilding and replacement of a significant number of internal parts. This means internally the machine becomes near new. Externally, refurbished machines may have cosmetic blemishes including paint chips and scratches from prior use. These blemishes will be documented as best as we can on the web listing.

Are refurbished & used machines reliable?
Yes, all refurbished machines are rigorously tested and certified to ensure they meet original performance standards. Many come with a limited warranty for peace of mind.

Where do refurbished & used machines usually come from?

No, these machines are restored to perform like new, meaning there should be no noticeable difference in coffee quality or machine functionality.

How old in the machine?
The age can vary. The year of manufacture will be stated on each product page.

How are machines priced?
Machines are priced based on age, condition and service or refurbishment costs.

What is the warranty? The standard warranty on Refurbished machines are 12 months, however if the machine is under 2 years old, it will be covered under the factory warranty. Factory warranty is from date on original invoice.

What is the warranty on a used home machine? The standard warranty on a used machine is 12 months, however if the machine is under 2 years old, it will still be covered by our standard warranty.

If my machine is less then 2 years old, will it be covered under the original factory warranty?
Yes, the factory 2-year warranty is valid from the date of the original invoice.

What is the warranty on a refurbished home machine?T
hese machines are internally rebuilt as new. We therefore offer our standard 24-month warranty on refurbished machines.

Do you offer extended warranty on refurbished machines?
No.

Who completed the refurbishment?
La Marzocco completes the refurbishment on-site at our Auckland workshop.

Can I view the machine before purchase? You can arrange a viewing of the refurbished machines at our Auckland showroom only. Please contact home.nz@lamarzocco.com to book in a viewing. But be aware the machine might sell before booked viewing.

Can they be purchased in a package deal?
No, used and/or refurbished home machines cannot be purchased as part of a package or promotional deal.
